The Forex Market

By 1999, I was a full time trader. I was starting to get requests from friends and family to teach them; you know, what are you doing? What is going on? Of course, that was just the beginning of that huge push into 1999 and 2000. Everybody wanted to be a day trader anyway. Back then I was trading mostly options. I was starting to get into the future’s market. I started out in equities and stocks. I moved into stocks. I moved into commodities, futures and finally I decided to concentrate solely on the Forex market.

Because I had been recruited by a very large seminar company to come onto the team doing one of their trading seminars, I of course, interviewed individuals that were either traders themselves or managing money and by this time, I was head funds trader and propriety trader.

If you don’t know, a propriety trading room is where a group of people get together. They will pool their own money so everyone might ante in and say 25, 30 or 50 thousands dollars or they’ll have a bunch of investors that will get together and pony up the money. As a trader, I would split the profits with that investor 50/50. So I was doing a little bit of both. I was doing a lot of consulting at the time. I was doing trading on an individual basis. I had for probably about four years here in Arizona, a group of traders that I was teaching auction strategies and trading on a regular basis. I was teaching the trading. I found out later on that most of them weren’t trading.

I think there are some definite reasons why I can take a group of people; I was giving them literally exacting my strategies. I was sharing with them how to make money. I think there were some definite reasons why they could not go home and duplicate that which we will get to in the course. So that’s a history; at least a snap shot of some of the high points. Of course, there is a lot of detail in there that I am leaving out. There are some new developments for everybody who happens to be waiting on a kit.
