She has been seen in the television drama series “Our House” in the year 1986 as Kris known as one of Jessica Siblings, she is also been seen in the comedy series “Heathers” in the year 1989 as Heather Duke one of the wealthy girls with the same first name and in the television series “Beverly Hills 90210” in the year 1990 as Brenda Walsh as one of the rebellious twins.

Doherty was born in Memphis, Tennessee on the date of April 12, 1971. In the age of seven, she tried to pursue a career as a child actress. She is a daughter of a couple named Tom and Rosa Doherty.
