The Spaniard team Barcelona FC has its goals set for the new 2008-2009 European Football season and the Catalonian managers have two options which could bring a new perspective to the team these are: Alex Silva and midfielder Hernanes who are considered the next two Brazilian football promises.
Despite the fact, the Sao Paulo team was not in agreement with Alex Silva’s transfer to the Barcelona FC the team’s spokesman did confirm both parties are trying to reach a final decision and the local press referrers to the possibility of the two players entering the Catalonian squad.
On the other hand, the Palmeiras admitted that Henrique and his representative Marcos Malaquías met Thursday with Begiristain, but the Brazilian team delegated the details of the negotiations to Traffic, a sports firm that holds the 8.0 % of the Hernanes rights.
The Sao Paulo Football Division director, Carlos Augusto Barros and Silva indicated in statements this Friday to the TV Band channel that "there was no contact. All is in the middle of speculations, but the amounts could be around 25 million dollars.
Hernanes is a national team player and the national squad should be preparing the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games that will be disputed in August in China, therefore he will need extra time in case he should play for the Barca in the near future. Regardless, he does deny any kind of contact.
"I have not talk to nobody of the Barcelona. But if a proposal arrives I am going to analyze it and think about it with tranquility", commented Anderson Hernanes who is considered the best key player of last season at the "Brasileirao".
Hernandes was born on May 29, 1985 in Recife. He had the difficult mission to replace Josué who was transferred to the German football and who now also forms part of the national team that disputes the South American qualifying round to the South Africa 2010 World Championship.
Before being consecrated in the "Paulista ", his formation team, Hernanes played in the Santo André of the Serie "B" to which was sent as loan during 2006. This player, in spite of playing in the first line of midfielders stands up as a good collector as well as a precise player to create the attack strategies.
The Spaniard press almost describes the deal as fully complete while they speak of Hernanes like Kaka’s "clone" in the midfield, even a two million dollars contract has been mentioned.
Alex Sandro da Silva, in the meantime, is without discussion, Sao Paulo and the Olympic team best player holder. Silva, was born on March 10, 1985 in Amparo and began his football career with the Ponte Preta de Campinas in the 2001, then played for the Vitoria de Bahia and later fled to Rennais in the French league in 2005.
The Henrique Adriano Buss deal seems more close to a becoming a fact with Catalonian squad; we will only need to wait and see who will be the next Brazilian player enlisted in the Spaniard Primera Liga for the 2009 Championship.
